The Encino

The ultimate mid mod pad Brings to life the fictional brady house

The Encino Model takes cues from the fictional Brady residence of the favorite sitcom that still runs in syndication around the world. This large family home marries the exterior architectural flavor of a real house with the sets from the TV production to deliver a buildable and groovy mid-century modern design. The style is considered Contemporary, though most know it as mid-century modern. You find houses with similar architecture among the Santa Monica Mountains that divide the city of Los Angeles from its primary basin and the San Fernando Valley. While this new design makes alterations to create a suitable layout, the right cues from the television show maintain the iconic theme.
